Nothing’s more tedious or pretentious than listening to someone talk about their art and the creative process, so I’ll be brief.

I create because I like to create. There’s satisfaction in making something from nothing.

I explore everyday life—small moments, fragments of memory, and uncomfortable truths that reveal character, regret, responsibility, faith, resilience and humor, because it matters to me.

I value hard work, failure and resurrection. I also appreciate the scars that document the journey—pretty and ugly, visible and buried. They make us human.

I’m a flawed man doing the best he can—nothing more, nothing less. If you like what you see, great. If not, that’s fine, too.
